It is a joint venture of Forum Business Research (Netherlands) and Winnou Systems and Services (P) Ltd (India).

Forum Business Research in the Netherlands has been conducting business research since 1986 and has done so for organizations such as Philips, Rabobank, Robeco, Dutch railways, Dutch Tax administration and many more. Forum came up with the idea of Performitor in 2006.
